Jenna-Louise Coleman, a British actress, who is famous for portraying Clara Oswald on the TV show Doctor Who, has a large fan base. In her early years she was a member of Yer Space a theater company where she performed in Crystal Clear during the Edinburgh Festival. Coleman's part in the play Crystal Clear was praised as well as awarded. Coleman's first break occurred in 2005 when she was cast in the role of Jasmine Thomas on the Emmerdale soap-opera. She continued to appear on the show until its end in 2009. Jasmine Thomas was her character in the National Television Awards 2006. The show received her a nomination for Most Popular Freshman at that year's awards. Coleman debuted in film in 2011, when she played Connie who was as she appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger.
