Nancy Wilson was the first child of six. Nancy was heavily influenced by her father's taste in music and the records that were played in her family home. Her birth date was February 20, 1937, in the city of Chillicothe, Ohio to Olden Wilson who was a worker at the ironworks as well as Lillian Ryan, a former domestic employee. Nancy was the youngest of six kids. Her father's love of music as well as the music he played at home had a major influence on Nancy as a young girl.
